MEET OUR FOUNDER
BEN SORENSEN
Our founder, Ben Sorensen, was born in Lincoln, Nebraska, and raised in Stafford, Virginia. During his high school years, Ben found a liking for the outdoors and provided lawn care services to his friends and neighbors. He never turned down a challenge, and always had the motto, “If I don’t know it I will learn and figure it out.”
Ben was known for driving around Stafford in his red pickup truck with a lawnmower in the back. It was part of his identity and grew to be something he was extremely proud of. In 2012, Ben decided to make it official and incorporate Sorensen Outdoor Services.
As Ben grew up, so did his lawn care business, incorporating his family and friends into what he loved. Ben graduated from The University of Mary Washington with a degree in Accounting and began to develop and grow Sorensen Outdoor Services into the leading lawn care service business it is today.
Ben is now a Certified Commercial Applicator, a residential building Class A Contractor, and is well versed in sales, operations, and marketing. He's dedicated to providing the best lawn care services in the Fredericksburg region.
